Plant lovers rejoice!

All About Plants will be held in the Runnex Elevated Garden of the Quezon Memorial Circle from April 28 to May 1, 2022.

Celebrate summer with other gardening enthusiasts. Shop for ornamental plants, check out new hybrids, attend workshops and seminars, and observe tabletop competitions. Topics will include euphorbia and agave.

Jojo Francisco, president of the National Cactus and Succulent Organization of the Philippines, Inc., is enthusiastic about the continuing popularity of ornamental plants, particularly cactus and succulents. “They’re unique and easy to breed and propagate,” he says in Tagalog. “There are new cultivars coming out with unique forms, colors, and variegation because these are what’s sought after by collectors.”

Shoppers can check out cacti like gymnocalyciums and asterias, as well as fruit trees and ornamental plants like philodendrons, among others.

“Visitors will get to see different varieties that are affordable,” Francisco adds. “A lot of Pinoy collectors-turned-breeders are proving that we are able to achieve the same quality as Thailand, that we can do the same thing.”
