As told to Agriculture Magazine

I’m Christian Arsenio, co-owner of XL Poultry Farm in Barangay Malobago, Jaro, Leyte.

Established in April 2019, XL Poultry Farm is a layer poultry farm that produces fresh farmed white eggs. Our produce is used for commercial and home use.

[My partner and I] started the said layer poultry business right after [coming] home from working abroad as nurses. Now we aim to expand our farm to cater [to increasing] demands.

Being in the province and doing farm activities gives [us] peace of mind. The calmness in the farm relaxes our mind and taking care of our farm animals keeps us happy compared to [our past work in the] medical field.
