As a retired Provincial Agriculturist, Mr. Adriano Necesito did not realize that he was preparing for the future. It was not in his plan to own a farm, not to mention a resort too.

Blessed with an area and a vast lawn, it started out as a storage place of products. However, people in the community would flock to their place for picnics, where food is shared lovingly with family and friends. This has driven him to develop his place into a picturesque farm filled with vegetables, organic chicken, duck and turkey, brown rice, organic hog, herbs and spices and tilapia pond.

Necesito has devised his own technology through research and years of experience.

The farm is a home for a winery too. Necesito has devised his own technology through research and years of experience. In addition, he produces 11 tons of tilapia with only an area of 7000 m2.

“Farming is not easy, it is very tiring but when you know you are helping others, the rewards are very fulfilling,” said Necesito. Not only his farm is an advocate of organic farming, it also creates jobs for the people in the community. He also shares the available technologies to visitors to help them
develop their respective farms.

In fact, he takes in out-of-school youth to teach them the said technologies at the same time send them to school just to help them achieve their dreams.

Nestled in Brgy. Reserva, Baler, Aurora, Azbahaen is a depot for bignay and calumpit wine, brown rice, brown rice coffee, virgin coconut oil and dwarf coconut seedlings. Visitors could avail these products upon leaving the farm. Necesito said that the demand for rice and wine has driven them to produce some of the said products.

With crops following the principles of organic agriculture, the family is sure that they are consuming chemical-free and healthy food. It makes it even more fulfilling to share these healthy and scrumptious food to others. This was the farm’s advocacy after Adriano’s lovely wife, Zenaida, battled with and conquered breast cancer.
