Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, farmers are having a hard time selling their harvests. Fortunately, a project called Delivery-e Initiative was set up through a partnership between the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Department of Agriculture (DA), and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Curaytive City Farms has joined the initiative. It is an urban farm company that helps farmers to have better connectivity with consumers, as well as facilitate the distribution of produce.
They offer three types of vegetable packages:Â
Leafy Greens Pack which is a 4-kilogram worth of Leafy Greens. A combination of 1 kg Cabbage, 1 kg Green Ice Lettuce, 1 kg Celery, and 1 kg Romain Lettuce which retails at P230.
Salad Mix, 6-kilogram worth of Salad Vegetables. A mixture of 1 kg Cabbage, 1 kg Carrots, 1 kg Green Ice Lettuce, 1 kg Celery, 1 kg Romaine Lettuce, 1 kg Bell Pepper, and 1 kg Tomato which retails at P350.
And the third offer is the Grocery Mix package. A 5.5-kilogram worth of Grocery Vegetables such as 500 grams Carrots, 500 grams Potato, 500 grams Sayote, 500 grams Celery, 500 grams Cauliflower, 500 grams Broccoli, 500 grams Baguio Beans, 500 grams Bell Pepper, 500 grams Red Onion, 500 grams Garlic, and 500 grams Tomato which retails at P430.
Prices may vary without further announcements. Every package will require a flat shipping rate of P129, which will be delivered through courier assistance.
