The implementation of the “Enhanced Community Quarantine” (ECQ) in a bid to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 crisis includes a limited movement of goods and basic necessities.
As a result, many Filipinos are forced to stay at home and wait for assistance from their respective LGUs. This usually comes in the form of relief goods such as rice, canned goods, instant noodles, vegetables, and even cash aid.

Vegetables that will be distributed include bitter gourd (Momordica charantia), eggplant (Solanum melongena), winged bean (Psophocarpus tetragonolobus), chayote (Sechium edule), asparagus beans (Vigna unguiculata ssp. Sesquipedalis), tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum), and many more.
