Folks in Angeles City, Pampanga looking for a source of organic and naturally grown products now need not go further than Korea Town.
Farmery Organic Market is an organic grocery store that sells organically certified and naturally grown products from around the country. The store is a collaboration between two family farms: Teraoka Family Farm and Grassroots and Co. Farms.
“We saw the potential [the area] has, especially with Pampanga being a booming province and how it’s being developed into a world-class city,” says Raphael Teraoka Dacones, Chief Farming Officer of Teraoka Family Farm and one of the partners of Farmery Organic Market. “It being a diverse city with many nationalities, we thought it could have a potential in having an all-organic market.”

Teraoka Family Farm regularly supplies some of the top restaurants in Manila with organic certified produce.
Aside from vegetables from both farms, Farmery also carries products from popular local brands such as Theo + Philo chocolates, Sababanana banana chips, Benevita milk chocolate organic coconut spread, and dairy products from DVF Farms and Pinky’s Farm. Other products include organic eggs, coffee sourced from farmers in Kalinga, and upland produce from a partner farmer in Benguet. There are also MNL Grow Kits for folks who want to try growing their own herbs or flowers at home.
“We try to make organic food affordable for everyone, not just for the higher market,” Dacones says. “That’s what we want to do: to provide healthy and slow food for everyone in an affordable way.”
Fresh organic certified and naturally grown vegetables from the two family farms, plus a partner from Benguet, are available daily.
