Igorot hunks plant trees as part of their advocacy

Popularly known as the “Igorot Hunks,” members of the Tawid Cultural Performing Group recently planted tree seedlings at the Yamang Bukid Farm last September 29 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan as a part of their advocacy in protecting the environment.

Yamang Bukid Farm is known for its various community projects that actively protect the environment as well as support the livelihood of farmers. It is frequented by local and international tourists because of its initiatives and different programs. 

The farm is also lauded by the Department of Agriculture, Department of Tourism, along with other government sectors due to its exemplary practices in farm tourism and sustainable agriculture.
