Buzz express: the smallest Mcdonald’s restaurant for bees

What seems to BEE a miniature model of the 2nd most famous fast food chain in the world attracts thousands of BEE-ry important guests everyday. Yes, honey, you’ve read it right. McDonald’s in Sweden opened operational bee hives that look just like their buildings.

The initiative behind the creation of ‘McHive’ is to preserve the well-being of bees. There have been several Mcdo chains across Sweden that built their own McHives on their roofs.

NORD DDB, the creative minds responsible for this project, said that the number of franchisees engaging in this project are increasing. Most restaurants are also replacing grass landscapes with flowers and plants that are important for wild bees to thrive.
